The Lord of the Rings TCG is an all-new, fast-paced strategy game that focuses on the Fellowship's desperate quest to take The One Ring to Mordor. Each player attempts to move their Fellowship along the adventure path toward the final goal, while their opponent tries to defeat or corrupt their Ring-bearer with Sauron's evil minions.

The Display Booster Box contains 36 limited-edition booster packs, each containing one rare card, three uncommon cards, and seven common cards. The Starter Decks contain 60 fixed cards each, including two copies of an exclusive premium version of either Aragorn or Gandalf; 3 random rare cards; and a rulebook. 365 cards in the set.
